Ensure Your Freedom of Access to Natural Health Care.

Support the Complementary and Alternative Health Care Freedom of
Access and Consumer Protection Bill for Georgia
(Based on the Minnesota Bill signed into law on May 11, 2000)

The Georgia Bill does not yet have a number assigned. The final language of the bill is still being determined. However, contact your legislators NOW, voicing your support for the concept of free access.

Important aspects of the proposed legislation:

  • Authorizes the legal practice of complementary/ alternative health care by unlicensed practitioners such as homeopaths, naturopaths, massage therapists, hypnotherapists, polarity therapists, herbalists, etc.
  • Mandates that the practitioner reveal his/her credentials such as training, education, experience and other qualifications.
  • Does not mandate what the training, certifications, credentials, etc. must be for any given discipline.
  • Defines grounds for disciplinary action for misrepresentation of credentials, fraud, etc.
  • Includes a Client Bill of Rights which must be signed before treatment commences.

If you would like to be involved in helping ensure your freedom of access, contact CAMAction at 404-284-7592 or cama@mindspring.com. Donate to CAMAction and volunteer to work for freedom of access.
